A DAY (a few days) IN THE LIFE OF PRESIDENT BUSH (PHOTOS): 11.13-15.04

In his Saturday radio address, President Bush said, "Earlier this week, Prime Minister Allawi of Iraq authorized military operations to rid the city of Fallujah of Saddam holdouts and foreign terrorists." Here's raw footage of some of the action in Fallujah that makes the case.

Sunday the Bush's attended St. John's church in D.C.

Monday, the President announced more Cabinet changes. The following individuals are stepping down.
* Colin Powell, Secretary of State
* Rod Paige, Secretary of Education
* Spencer Abraham, Secretary of Energy
* Ann Veneman, Secretary of Agriculture

ABC News is reporting that Bush is nominating Condi Rice to replace Colin Powell as Secretary of State.

Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld is in Quito, Ecuador, to attend the Defense Ministerial of the Americas.

Secretary Powell has been in Mexico meeting with President Fox.

The President tapped Ken Mehlman, who was chairman of Bush's re-election campaign, to head the Republican Party.

A man set fire to himself as he repeatedly yelled "Allah Allah" after Secret Service officers put out the flames and one held him facedown on the sidewalk today. Hours later, another man jumped the White House fence.

As can be seen by the above summary, this is a good day to stop by Sanity Island!

This looks like the face of a man with secrets ... ready to be breaking out upon the world.

Secretary of State Colin Powell (R) announced his resignation from the post to his staff at the State Department in Washington November 15, 2004. Powell is pictured in this November 12, 2004 photo talking to U.S. Vice President Dick Cheney during a joint press conference held by U.S. President George W. Bush and British Prime Minister Tony Blair in the East Room of the White House

Hello Gretchen. Anymore reports on the man who set himself on fire? Or the one who jumped the fence? I hope these 2 will spend their lifetime in prison.

Good to know that Vice President Cheney is all right.

Let's pray that God will send the right persons to run for President (and other offices on down) in 2008!

In an admittedly lame competition, Barney challenges Tennis Ball to an eyebrow growing contest.

-- Jamie

Dear Jamie

Thumbs are overrated.

(This may be the WH staff's best photo / caption combination yet.)

This time not happy with yesterday's caption, Barney commandeers the web site and puts up his own caption.....

"Barney Nose Best" HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA.
