In his Saturday radio address, President Bush said, "Earlier this week, Prime Minister Allawi of Iraq authorized military operations to rid the city of Fallujah of Saddam holdouts and foreign terrorists." Here's raw footage of some of the action in Fallujah that makes the case.
Sunday the Bush's attended St. John's church in D.C.
Monday, the President announced more Cabinet changes. The following individuals are stepping down.
* Colin Powell, Secretary of State
* Rod Paige, Secretary of Education
* Spencer Abraham, Secretary of Energy
* Ann Veneman, Secretary of Agriculture
ABC News is reporting that Bush is nominating Condi Rice to replace Colin Powell as Secretary of State.
Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld is in Quito, Ecuador, to attend the Defense Ministerial of the Americas.
Secretary Powell has been in Mexico meeting with President Fox.
The President tapped Ken Mehlman, who was chairman of Bush's re-election campaign, to head the Republican Party.
A man set fire to himself as he repeatedly yelled "Allah Allah" after Secret Service officers put out the flames and one held him facedown on the sidewalk today. Hours later, another man jumped the White House fence.
As can be seen by the above summary, this is a good day to stop by Sanity Island!

OH MY..I am thrilled!..I really need pictures..The ONLY things I miss about the campaign are the great pictures and footage on TV of the President, and VP and their families.
Hello Gretchen. Anymore reports on the man who set himself on fire? Or the one who jumped the fence? I hope these 2 will spend their lifetime in prison.
Good to know that Vice President Cheney is all right.
