Didn't Garrison Keillor once quit PBS to do something with his life. Seems like he was only gone for a few months. The real world must have scared him.

It makes me cringe to know that PBS receives tax money. They get on the air and beg for more money appealing to the guilt gene, or original sin within us. Yet, the slimy b@st@rds fill their personal coffers with money stolen from others.

Decades ago in Boston, we had a station manager who had a six figure income. Yet he lived in rent controlled housing. The poor property owner was forced to subsidize this Orwellian Pig. He was not alone. Tens of thousands of Orwell's pigs living in Cambridge bilked homeowners of hard earned savings until rent control was outlawed in Massachusetts.

He went to Norway to live for a couple of years but came back when he realized he was paying $4 for a jar of peanut butter. I'll have to read the entire transcript to confirm my suspicion that he was just making fun of religion as he does of his own Lutheran variety. Martin Luther practically invented being "born-again" and must be turning over in his mansion in Heaven.
