Thanks Swifties...job well done! You did the "right thing" in spades and inspired a legion of others to go forth and follow your example. That's leadership. Mr. O'Neill, you are to be particularly commended for your calm and polite demeanor under intense abuse. You were a credit to yourself and all your people, a paragon of one whose mind and heart are focused on the truth. I, for one, have been changed for the better by what you did, and I am sure that I am not alone. Your triumphant stand will pay dividends for many years. Thanks again.

ooohhh, well said! (Post 108)

In this whole thread, I chose yours to second!!

The Swifties and POWS, and the patriots that supported them, actually managed to present steady, steely leadership and resolve while driving a true grassroots revolution to fight media abuse and political trickery.

Each American, whether they agreed with Kerry's positions or not, was FORCED to attend to what they said because they were each so obviously honest and sincere in their witness.

Each American was FORCED to see the difference between plain truth spoken by people of convictions and the spin of professional liars hatched in smoky back rooms.

When it came time to vote on November 2, 2004, Americans voted for a more respectful, honest country. THAT's what the Democrats don't get - we want honesty and accountability in our government.

This was truly a cultural revolution.
