Islam should be regarded with the same type of attitude as Satanism.

This is a good read except "Islam is the religoon of peace and tolerance" because President Bush said so...

I did a study on Islam for a class and this behavior isn't new and was apart of Islam from the beginning. As a matter of fact the crusades, the often used metaphor by terrorists to describe western barbarism, was begun in response to Muslim killing and destroying entire villages of Christians and Jews. Where Islam had its greatest push to the "dark side" came in the 30's and 40's as great numbers of Islamists joined the ranks of the Nazi fascism movement.
While there are certainly large groups of Muslims who are peaceful and nonviolent, they are not in control of their faith and stay to themselves for fear of reprisals.
Sorry for rambling.

I am sorry. You must understand that I live in the Soviet of Washington. Letters to Senators are pointless. They don't want to know about Islam or terrorism.
My newly re-elected Senator is Patty Murray. Yes, the same Patty Murray that praised the humanitarian works done by Osama Bin Laden to a school group she was talking to as a way of explaining why he was loved and we were hated overseas.
In my state political correctness is far more important that truth, protecting this country or other things you may consider reasonable. After all this is the state that also just re-elected Jim (Bagdad Jim) McDermott to the US House of Representatives.
(as least I don't live in his district.)
