The Polar Express is a great children's book, that takes fifteen minutes tops to read. How you can stretch that out into a feature film is baffling. It will slink out of theaters soon.

I said the same thing about "The Grinch." Good thing Dr. Seuss wasn't alive to see it.

My thoughts exactly. We read The Polar Express to our twins many times, but 2 hours of a story it ain't! It could have been a TV special, maybe......

I thought Polar Express was a great movie. We had the book for a while and I wanted to take my kids to see the movie. I was not looking forward to the movie but it was suprisingly very good. In fact, at the end of the movie everyone clapped. I have never seen this in a children's movie.

I think it will be a Christmas classic and I am very critical of Hollywood films.

I once read Johnathan Livingston Seagull in the Von's checkout line in Simi Valley.
