he Rosenberg clan - the circle of defenders and sympathizers that has come together for half a century on behalf of Julius and Ethel Rosenberg - gathered once again yesterday, but this time the emphasis was as much on family as it was on politics. A documentary film about the case and its consequences for the Rosenberg family made by a granddaughter of the couple, Ivy Meeropol, was shown at the Museum of Jewish Heritage, in Lower Manhattan. The Rosenbergs were convicted of passing atomic secrets to the Soviet Union and were executed in 1953.

Wow, you'd think the Rosenbergs were related to Spectre.

At least fellow travelers on the political spectrum if not blood relations.

I am infinitely more interested in Albert Gore's relationship with Armand Hammar.

Decades later, communists at the NYT still fume over the execution of two convicted traitors. Decades laters, the Republican party still fights the enemies of America.
God bless Eisenhower. God bless Bush. God bless America.

When are these people going to give it up?
The declassified files of the KGB plus other evidence shows solidly that the Rosenbergs were spies and that Ethel Rosenberg was implicated.
Just like the idiots that defended Alger Hiss all those years until the same declassified files proved his guilt along with others like Harry Dexter White, et al.
The real truth of the matter was that the Rosenbergs did not have to die. Right up to the last minute they both had the option of cooperating with the Justice Department and the FBI to tell all and give any and all names of other agents in the U.S.. Instead they refused and Ethel Rosenberg decided that she would rather die and be a Martyr and let her kids grew alone than save herself. Now what kind of Mother is that?
These people are so deranged and brainwashed that they will keep the flame burning even in the wake of the overwhelming evidence we now have. Delusional people, they should just leave and migrate to Russia.

I wonder if the 'documentary' will mention that old KGB files admit they were guilty?

In 1983, R. Radosh and J. Milton wrote a book about the case, The Rosenberg File: A search for the Truth... so overwhelming was their case....even O.J. defender Alan Dershowitz proclaimed it "definitive." Henceforth, he said all "reasonable" discussion of the case must begin with the "fact that Julius Rosenberg was guily of espionage." Pge 49,footnote ,40, Treason by Ann Coulter.

"...Alan Dershowitz proclaimed it "definitive."
Which means he would have defended them and loudly proclaimed their innocence.

They wree guilty of treason, the penalty IS death. It was as it should have been.
