Next, it was daylight outside where the Marine was and he had to look into a room that was relatively dark--it would have been tough to see the Iraqi in detail without standing there letting your eyes adjust while the bad guy leisurely popped you. If our Marine had seen an obviously disabled Iraqi, he doubtless would have taken him prisoner. If you're in combat andyou're not sure, you shoot. And that's not a war-crime.
I saw the video also. I laughed because I thought good riddance to a terrorist that was holding our soldiers down in a firefight.
Again, I saw the video in question on Yahoo a couple days ago. Good riddance.
