A US marine has sparked world-wide revulsion after being seen shooting an injured and helpless Iraqi.
The sickening scene was broadcast by Channel 4 News after a fire-fight in the rebel stronghold of Fallujah.
The trigger-happy soldier had been asked to get nearer to the injured man.
But instead of trying to capture him, the marine is seen leaning over a wall and cold-bloodedly shooting him.
He then turns to his colleagues and says: "He's gone". Coalition chiefs were last night under pressure to investigate the incident
Precisely. They didn't see what happened on the other side, only the Marine's shot. The yellow press is looking for something, anything to continue their campaign of bull$hit.
One less b@stard who can come back from Gitmo and take hostages!
The British were the only ones that provided any major ground force in Iraq other than the US. I didn't see them hiding under our skirts.
I will not condemn a trooper in the middle of battle....no one knows the circumstances....
The MSM and Liberals/leftist should just think of it as a very, very late term abortion.
The title should be, Marine shoots terrorist
maybe you just hadda momentary stutter - from being so PISSED that they should even QUESTION our guys!
Yeah, really. The Mirror is practically al-Jazerra's UK branch.
War is not pretty, it is not clean and it sure as hell doesn't need liberal monday morning quarterbacking!
What's the problem, it isn't as if he adorned the terrorist's head with a pair of women's bloomers?
This is a BRITISH news report.
I have found the British press to be even less honest (if that is possible) than the US MSM.
I believe I will reserve opinion but I have one question: Does a soldier that kills the enemy without a camera around a murderer, or just when "caught" on tape.
I thought these insurgents were dressing like Iraqis and pretending to be just Fallujah residents anyway!
I owe you an apology - didn't catch your's before posting.
Dying in battle was his greatest wish, maybe the soldier just aimed to please
I'm part of the world and it does not bother me in the least.
How does the Mirror know the diaper head was truly injured and helpless Iraqi. I'm sure the diaper head was still armed.
Pin a medal on the Marine. But take a star away for not popping the prissy Brit journalist in the forehead.
To hell with the one-sided liberals that live only to criticize American soldiers.
It doesn't matter one iota to me what he did to that enemy. That wounded Iraqi would have blown the soldier to bits had he the chance. In that situation I say, take no prisoners.
God how I despise the media.
Revulsion, eh? Tough, eh!
Those guys gave no mercy and they get none. That's my opinion.
