IAEA conducts last-minute inspection in Iran

LONDON [MENL] -- The International Atomic Energy Agency has launched a last-minute inspection of Iran.

A four-member IAEA inspection team arrived in Teheran on late Saturday and prepared to visit several nuclear facilities in Iran. An agency spokesman said the team would remain in Iran until Nov. 23.

Western diplomatic sources said the IAEA inspection was meant to clarify issues regarding Iran's nuclear program. They said they doubted that findings from the inspection would be included in the agency's forthcoming report to the board of governors.

The board was scheduled to meet in Vienna on Nov. 25 and determine whether Iran was cooperating with the agency. The sources said most of the 35-nation board was opposed to a U.S. effort to find Iran in violation of its pledges to the IAEA or relay the issue to the United Nations Security Council.

Yep, they are all opposed to a US effort to state the obvious truth all of them know. They are in favor of living in a dreamworld, a fictional, optional reality, in which murdering tyrants and terrorist trainers can have all the nukes they want - so long as they promise to use them to kill Jews or Americans, not the dreamers.

The proper response is to say, "OK", then order a naval blockade of Iran, ending all overseas trade with that country, by any of the dreamer states or anybody else. When they protest, tell them trade is flowing freely, and you do not recognize the existence of our own naval blockade. Ask them to get a security council resolution denouncing our blockade. Promise to veto any such resolution, and then demand they produce it anyway.

Quick, hide it over here... let us move it to Syria... okay, we'll put it in our convoy when we leave with the Russian "Diplomats"...

You cannot trust IAEA. Linked at hip with United Nations and Anon. I do not know when our leadership will wash their hands of these enablers of terrorism. They are a large part of the problems we have today.

Basically no argument with you, except to point out that the IAEA was right about Iraq. You have to give them their due on that one.

they were? well, I guess if you count on them knowing the stuff would be moved to Syria and therefore would not be found after the war - I guess we can say they were right.

Just curious -- has the IAEA gone into Syria yet? Has the Syrian government let them?

not sure, but even if they did, its a joke. El Baredi hates the US - the Al Qa Qa story was in part sourced by him the week before the election.

We shall see if the IAEA was right. Conventions wisdom is that you are correct, but I believe the truth be known, Syria is the USTORIT where these things are located.
