Frankly, a good punch in the nose is sometimes the most efficient way to change a landscape. We used to operate this way a little more often, and I think it wasn't all that bad.

But I'm also arguing that we should look beyond the upity Arabs and their sympathetic leftist coconspirators to uncover the feckless nature of our California political leadership. Who is ultimately responsible for the importation of these hateful students? Who riles them up in marxist course after marxist course? Who funds an institution like SFSU where the administration, the teachers, and the student body's leadership either ignores or encourages such behavior?
These questions are deeper and more disturbing than the urge to punch a black checked scarf wearing communist in the nose.
Aren't our leaders much more responsible for the demonstrated breakdown in the rule of law represented by their actual behavior than these students, naive as they are?
