My wife said, "ewww, he is all muddy". I said that aint mud, that is camo paint, or as we called it in my unit "MO FLAGE".
I told her, that you tend to get a little dirty in battle, and you don't have too much time to clean up. She loved the picture though, and said the same thing about the anti-smoking people that some of you have.
The fact that he's muddy and looks tired makes me love this kid even more. He looks in this photo like he could go days more if need be.
