(Art Bell discussed this last nite......beyond the WMD matter and terrorists, Scheuer will blow the lid off the shake-up of the CIA and George Tenets actions and inactions. I don't think anyone should miss watching it on 60 Minutes tonite.)

He hasn't been anonymous since the Boston Globe figured out who he was and printed it the week his book came out.
He was in charge of finding Bin Laden UNDER CLINTON-- NEVER UNDER BUSH.

I never found what Bell was reading from, but it sounded like this guy places most of the blame on the CIA lefty/klinton types and is going to finally put Tenet into the perspective he deserves.

"....Scheuer will blow the lid off the shake-up of the CIA and George Tenets actions and inactions."
Right, I expect a real cliff hanger.
These people are too little tooo late and now they are trying to make a dime pointing fingers.
Where the .ell were theses people during the Clintons years????

This guy sounds to me like he was"Part of The Problem"!!!!
Well, let's see.....Scheuer failed miserably in his own job; CIA is infested with leftists; Scheuer probably has an axe to grind, or at the very least a book to sell; this is being flogged on CBS which, as we all know, has enormouse credibility problems. I think I'll just watch The Simpsons.....

This sounds like another Democrat/CBS collaboration designed to undermine Bush.
Can't wait to see if CBS has improved its forgery skills. I am sure that CBS will do its best to "balance" its smear job by parading the lamest "other side" point-of-view spokesman they can find. That is, if they bother with the "other side" at all.

Anonymous will probably break several laws in making disclosures. Classified information is not material to sell books or get face time on CBS (the network that makes up the news).
Dulles is rolling in his grave over these disloyal self-serving trolls.

He was chief of hunting down OBL from 1996-1999, and did we not get hit several times by OBL'S org. during that time period? Wouldn't he be better suited to criticize the Clinton Admin. for it's 8 year failure to deal with terrorism? Now suddenly this individual has all the answers. I have the real answer, COLD HARD CASH! How many have suddenly turned into sages now that they have left public service. These folks are as bad as Kerry. The man was a 22 yr. veteran of the CIA, yet we were hit multiple times while he was at the agency. Just as Kerry suddenly had plans for everything under the sun after having none for 20 yrs. in the senate, this man now says that he has the answers to all our intelligence problems. I also have an answer. Get rid of all the lifers who see their very important work as nothing more than a civil service job and a cushy career. We needs folks who have a WWII/Early Cold War mentality in dealing with terrorism, and not jackasses who write a book and jump on the 60 Minute bandwagon. How many hit pieces does this make for 60 Minutes on the Bush Admin.?

Let me choose, football or 60 minutes....hmmm this is easy....football!

I don't think anyone should miss watching it on 60 Minutes tonight.) I think I'll pass on CBS and 60 Minutes, but I would like to make a prediction: It's all Bush's fault, but if it isn't his fault, he still made it much worse then it should have been.
Let me know how I did.

Actually I ALWAYS miss 60 Minutes. Having personally seen how they operate, and the many other examples which have been documented, I don't believe a single thing they air.

I'd trust Art Bell more than 60 Minutes.

Despite the caveat of CBS's heavy editing, it looked to me like this fellow is interested in telling the truth. He slammed Tenet and Richard Clarke pretty well, and also defined the real extent of reasons justifying the WOT like no MSM has allowed thus far.
He will surely be appearing on other media after this, and we will see.....I can't wait till Rush has him on. For now, I am not convinced that he is about bashing the Prez.....what I saw and heard indicates otherwise......and as for his earlier activities, well, he was still in the employ of the CIA, which has not performed well for President Bush thus far.
I will wait to judge this man.

Michael Scheuer wrote the book ?Imperial Hubris: Why the West Is Losing the War on Terror? under the pen name ?anonymous? and formally resigned from the intelligence agency on Friday, after 22 years of service. Well,.....this 'is' the real story?
/'anon'......?
(The 'Iceberg' is NOT the 'tip'.....)
