You couldn't despise Planned Parenthood any more than I do, but it's false to say that they donated to Specter's campaign. That implies a cash payment that Specter blatantly accepted.

That I can not prove. But Arlen Specter received critical help in the primary to defeat a Pro-Life candidate (Toomey). There was money that was spent in the form of aid of phone calls and mailings.

Though he may not have endorsed this aid, he welcomed the votes that it produced in defeating Toomey.

Yes, I know Specter is not pro-life. I signed the petition against him chairing the judicial committee.

But if you "can not prove" he took money from Planned Parenthood, you should not say that he did.

Easy enough, I think.
