Yes, I do.

GWB will not be able to do enough to fix a badly corrupted system quickly enough. The country is about equally divided between those that want Socialism and those that want to impose their ideas of Morality on the rest, or want to return to the Original interpretation of the Constitution.

It is the unmovable object versus the irresistable force. And, as Lincoln (among others) said "A house divided itself cannot stand."

The war will start as a reaction to either far left or right hotheads committing violence upon the other side. The governmental bodies will have to choose one side or the other, which will please only 50% of the population. Heavy-handed actions of the government will increase discontent to the point of open, guerilla warface.

Not pretty, but that's how I see it.

What about seccession? I've heard of a christian group out there who wants to get together 100,000 people together, move to a small conservative state, take over the legislature, and secede. Their top two candidate states they're looking at are Mississippi and Alabama. North and South Dakota are presumably rules out because they're so reliant on federal subsidies that they would never secede.

How do you see a seccession playing out?
