Muslim-Buddhist violence hits Thailand

Tan Toh, Thailand, Nov. 13 (UPI) -- A bomb blast Saturday in southern Thailand killed an elderly man and raised to more than 30 the number of injuries in the nation's growing religious conflict.

Besides the unidentified man's death, eight others were injured when the bomb ripped through a market in the predominantly Buddhist town of Tan Toh, in the province of Yala, the Voice of America reported.

Also Saturday, a gunman shot and killed a policeman while he was driving home in nearby Pattani province.

Sixteen people were injured Friday when a bomb blast struck a crowded restaurant in Narathiwat province, and several hours later two more explosions rocked nearby towns, but no one was injured in those two blasts.

Sad to say, I think you are correct.

Islam has a few years to totally reform itself (as every other religion did in middle ages) or be universally banned as a criminal enterprise.

It won't be the first religion to be banned, but it will probably the the most bloody one to be banned.

If only 5% of Muslims in America are Fundamentalist Muslims which support the kind of terrorist acts of September 11th, then America has 300 thousand Muslim terrorists living within its borders.

There won't ever be peace on earth, even if Islam were stamped out. Evil is more inventive than that, and Plato was right when he wrote "only the dead have seen the end of war."
