That is always their reaction. Contrast that with Freepers praying for the recovery of someone we equally did not respect, Bill Clinton. Which group is civilized and which are coldhearted thugs?
"On the recommendation of his doctors, the vice president is going to George Washington University Hospital for some tests," spokesman Ken Lisaius said. "He experienced some shortness of breath Saturday morning and has had a bad cold, which could be the cause for the shortness of breath." President Bush (news - web sites) was notified, Lisaius said. Cheney's cardiologist, Dr. Jonathan Reiner, was to oversee the tests.

I know that I should have tin foil stapled to my head for this, but… What if this was planned, Dick Cheney gets to go into private life (Just to annoy Democrats, Halliburton?) and W gets to pick someone who will now be a shoe-in in 08 giving shillery nowhere to run (Sorry about the pun ;^) OK, I’ll go take my medication now doctor.

Dick's had a lot of work done under the hood, hope it's not serious.
I remember when Edwards plane had a problem and when Mrs. Edwards got cancer. We all prayed for them.

Isn't that just it? Democrats are KNOWN to be compassionate so that they do not actually have to BE compassionate. Since we are KNOWN to be granny-killing, gun-toting racists, it doesn't matter how much true compassion we actually DEMONSTRATE.
That more than anything marks the difference between the the republicans and the democrats.....
