I'm sorry to hear about your friend. That's awful of her and you need to state your dissaproval and make up, if possible. A day of people marking punch cards is a silly thing over which to lose a 45 year friendship.

I wish I had it in me to do that. I e-mailed her a few weeks ago after we found out our son was deploying to Iraq before Christmas.
I got back an e-mail trashing Bush ( cleaning up daddy's mess..........just for the oil) and saying she supported out troops, however what they are doing over there is morally wrong. In the same sentence. And her father was a WW2 vet.
