Just a quick post, but a baby 18 days old has a beating heart.

I never doubted that - that's why I didn't ask about it. The fetus pain argument is much more in doubt. I just don't want the pro-life movement to suffer due to reporting bad information. There are many well documented ways to call attention that a first trimester fetus is a human being - the beating heart is one of them.

All of the good evidence will be ignored though, if mixed in with some shaky evidence.
