Once we knew about the under staffing problem, we could start to understand why the ballots have not been counted. For our sources also told us that Secretary Dan did not employ even one person who either attended a Christian school or was home schooled in a Christian home. So, the problem is that Secretary Dan needs more help. He needs a lot more help, for it is becoming more and more clear that he does not have anyone in his office that can count past ten without taking off his or her shoes and even with his or her shoes off, can not get past counting to twenty.
And there lays the crux of the problem. When you only have people that can count to twenty and you don't know how many ballots you have because your staff is made up of public school graduates that can not count past twenty, you can't divide twenty into the number of ballots so that you know how many people you need to count the ballots. Understand? Well if you voted for Kerry, you probably don't...

Sorry folks but we just don't buy it. Not when it takes Secretary Dan and his predecessors months to finally post the results to an election. Something stinks and it is not the bare feet in Dan's office trying to make the vote come out to verify the unofficial count at the Bangor Daily.
If you're going to mock another's educational credentials, double-check your grammar.
When I was in Maine this summer the word was that this tax revolt would pass. For what that's worth.
I've had dealings with the state bureaucrats in Maine, and they are beyond measure the worst I've ever encountered. And I've seen New York, Connecticut, and Vermont.
