That seems to be the norm among performers. Without the makeup (which men wear, as well), lighting and whatnot, they are quite ordinary and even plain individuals. I'll tell you ONE celeb who is VERY PRETTY without make-up . . .Christie Brinkley.

I, LITERALLY, ran into her in a bank 10 or so years ago and she has that farm girl glow. She is very pretty without makeup and was just plain beautiful with it.
