Well, this is a Cynthia Tucker column and she is a Democrat.

Yes indeedy.

However, I started to see people fall all over themselves to pat her on the back, and I thought I'd point out at least one reason why I'm refraining from do so. She bemoans the devaluing of marriage, and then turns around and does it herself. (Yes, I know not everybody agrees.)
