MANAGUA, Nicaragua (AP) -- President Enrique Bolanos told U.S. Defense Secretary Donald H. Rumsfeld Friday that Nicaragua would completely eliminate a stockpile of hundreds of surface-to-air missiles with no expectation of compensation from the United States. The Sandinista party, now out of power, wants the United States to compensate the country for destroying the missiles, but a senior American defense official said that was unlikely.

John Kerry must be so sad...
Funny, I was thinking Jimmy Carter.
Memo to the Sandinistas: P!$$ off!
Screw the Sandinistas!
However, as Ronny used to say, "Trust but Verify."
What? Did that little Danny Ortega fart in a jar? What's he got? Some bottle rockets???
Ortega was one of the commie dictator types, which Kerry loved.
Phil time to post your famous K/O picture.
I am in the midst of this story, too, which deals with Ortega and company:

Just perfect, Phil!
The next thing you know, people will accuse me of being a pederast and a Communista. What is this world coming to, Senor?(!)
(Shakes head in disbelief.)
No thanks to John Kerry, Nicaragua has become a stable, pro-western democracy.
Great!
If Time and Newsweak had a single shred of honesty, they would run that as a cover picture while telling Americans the truth about Kerry.
They go together.

"Former Sandinista leader denies abuse charges"
"He justified his conduct with the argument that I, through the sex act, gave him emotional stability," the affidavit [by Ortega's step-daughter] said.
"He was making me believe that, with my sacrifice, I supported and protected the revolution."

This is the third thing I think of when I see Ortega's name. The first two are Rat political hacks like Jim Wright and Kerry, the second is sunglasses -- America's MSM employees loved Danny's sunglasses.
The fourth thing I think of is the way I learned at the time who was the commie and who was on our side, the Sandinistas v. the Contras.
I had not been keeping up with the news. I knew that just one TV network news report would answer the question. The "news" employees fawned over Danny and denounced the Contras. Yep, Danny was the Commie and the Contras were on our side.
Who can forget "Jimmy", the policeman of elections the world over?
Sheesh!
