We continue to pray a special protection over our armed forces that are now in battle in Fallujah and elsewhere around the globe. We pray that our Marines might have a swift and sure victory over an evil enemy who seeks to destroy all that is good and decent in this world. We pray that peace might come to the country of Iraq, and that the election in January might be peaceful and successful, but most of all Lord, we pray that the hearts of the Iraqi people might be open to the Gospel of the love of Your Son, Jesus, and might come to a saving knowledge of You. We pray for those who have been wounded in battle, and for the families of our soldiers who have fallen, that they might have a peace that passes human understanding.

Amen to you poignant prayer...
The flower on Tony Blair's lapel is a red poppy. It holds a significant reminder... those who gave it all.
God bless and protect our troops, our allies and our faithful CIC.
"...symbolism was now attached to the poppy - that of the sacrifice of shed blood."-google search sorry no link
