But State Supreme Court Justice Robert Orr, a death penalty supporter, argued that Chandler shouldn't be executed since he didn't kill Poore for money. What a putz. He killed her while committing a burglary in search for drugs. Period. Good enough for the chair in my book.

He broke into a frail old woman's house looking for drugs and then he mercilessly beat her to death.
What's the question?

Poore died of head injuries she suffered when Chandler, startled in the dark by her scream, swung his hand and hit her. The jury agreed with prosecutors that he killed Poore with the aggravating factor of seeking financial gain, which made him eligible for the death penalty. But State Supreme Court Justice Robert Orr, a death penalty supporter, argued that Chandler shouldn't be executed since he didn't kill Poore for money. Yea, this guy is real death penalty supporter!
The murderer killed a 90 year old woman!
The poor criminal was 'startled' and 'swung his hand'.
Actually the woman killed herself by placing herself in the way of the criminals hand.

Wow! It only took 12 years to execute this guy. That's gotta be a record.

SEARCH
If it's a breaking news topic, check breaking news first, it's probably already posted.
To avoid duplicate posts, please search before posting. The best method to search is to pick a key word or two from the title. If the article you are posting is, "Funny Video, This Land", start with 'Land' for the key word. If it is a hot topic, you might want to use two or more keywords, in this case, try 'Jib'. For an effective search, select 'match any words' and select 'order by post time'.
Search Land jib

N.C. Is off to a slow 2004. Third execution this year? Texas is just hit 20 with two this month. Red states do rule!

"But State Supreme Court Justice Robert Orr, a death penalty supporter, argued that Chandler shouldn't be executed since he didn't kill Poore for money."Lemme see if I've got this straight. He kills a screaming woman who could draw neighbors' attention to his robbery-in-progress and this judge says he didn't kill Poore for material gain? Did I get that right?
