If he wants a career, he could probably have it.
The RNC should consult his desires in this matter, if affirmative, quickly deduce which state features his best chances for election.
He was impressive at the convention. I'd rather not lose him from public service.

A Democrat who will demand accountability and excellence in education? Sure.

Texas has plenty of Republican candidates. Their bench is as deep as the 2004 Red Sox's.

I always liked hearing him when he was on Fox News.. he is well spoken and a big supporter of President Bush.. I hope he will stay around the Republican Party in some capacity..

They are blessed in that way. But he doesn't have to run in Texas. There are many states he could represent honorably. Though if he does wish to return to Texas I suppose the most obvious seat to run for is Governor.

Nice idea.
Wrong picture.

Sometimes folks leave cabinet positions for greener pastures. I wonder if this is the case with Paige. He seems to have performed well and I've not heard anyone demanding his resignation.

----Bush should make his wife Education Sec. would be a 1st :)---- Sounds good to me. Clinton made HIS wife Associate President of the United States, so it isn't as though there wouldn't be a precedent of sorts.
And I like Rod (fellow Houstonian), but Laura's a lot cuter.
