Yes, California has executed 10 people since the death penalty was reinstated in 1977.

Scott is lucky he didn't commit this crime in Texas. Texas has executed 22 murderers this year alone, and that's less than last year's pace.

Yeah, but Texas has such boring, mundane murder trials. Like the guy that shot his best friend over the last beer, the lady that ran over her husband at the Marriott. But I must admit, the one where the pedestrian was stuck in the windshild of the drunks car, as she drives home and parks in her garage for a few days with him still stuck in the windshield, that was pretty interesting.
