IMO, FWIW, I think it would be more difficult to get 12 people to acquit than 12 to convict under the circumstances in this case. That's why I really expected a hung jury.

Of course we will soon know the verdict, but I can't imagine that 12 people would set this man free after Scott's behavior, lies, the autopsy photos, etc.

Please, Lord, don't let this be another OJ jury.

The defense explantion is not outside the realm of possibility.

Satanic homeless people who procurred a larger boat than Scott's, waited until his alibi became public then dumped the body where Scott went fishing in order to "frame" him? Sure. That's plausible.

Despite my belief that he's guilty, I was sort of hoping for a hung jury so that Fox News would realize how ridiculous it is to spend so much time on murder trials.

They were probably brainstorming for book titles.

How about "Sick Bastard in a Fishing Boat"

Have to agree with you on pink hair lady. Don't see her caving to guilty this fast! She was the one who was so anxious to be on the jury & quit her job to do so!

If you listened to him talk for about ten minutes, you would NEVER, EVER take a trial by jury.

You can say that again! Justin is an IDIOT! Too many of those available for jury duty.

In Arkansas they have started requiring doctors, lawyer's wives, etc. to serve on the jury. No excuses unless you are practically on your death bed. I know because I am serving on one for the next nine months. What a bunch of lunatics. One woman was chosen for the jury and we took a 15 minute break and she didn't come back. lol! They sent the sheriff's office to get her but it was a little late. The judge had to get us all back in there and choose someone else to take her place.

BTW, I havevn't been selected yet because I seem to know all the criminals on each case. lol!

Thanks. Just caught the tail end of Dean Johnson (?) say "now that we assume there's a guilty verdict", blah blah. I recall last week the panel on CTV said an early verdict would favor the prosecutors. Regardless my strong instincts say guilty and I pray it's lst degree.

I'm betting guilty. The jury deadlocked because of the two wack jurors. Once they were removed, the jury decided quickly. It's gotta be 'guilty'.

I agree; and since we DO have a verdict, I think it's guilty.

And just to get it on the record, one of the reason I want him to be found guilty is to PROVE JUSTIN FALCONER to be a FRAUD!!!!

In the Bizzaro world that is today's media, it will be appealed all the way to the USSC where the newly seated Justice Arlen Specter will rule 'not proved'.

The defense explantion is not outside the realm of possibility.

"Satanic homeless people who procurred a larger boat than Scott's, waited until his alibi became public then dumped the body where Scott went fishing in order to "frame" him? Sure. That's plausible."

And additionally, the standard is 'reasonable', NOT 'possible'.

I didn't say plausible. I said possible.

With no physical evidence on the prosecution side, the defense explanation looms larger because it's impossible to disprove.
