Interesting thing is that if you or I run a red light or drive over the speed limit they don't just not prosecute you because of the sheer volume of cases. They at the very least fine you. My niece recently went to court on a ticket for failure to stop at a red light and I was surprised to see that it required a court appearance in the superior court.
I would think that smuggling illegals should warrant at the very least some steep fines and appearance before a judge. How else do you track how many times this person is breaking the law???
