The look similar to the Navy's H-3 Sea King to me, could be wrong, but they don't look Russian. Do a google image search on H-3 or Sea King and tell me if you think it's the same chopper.
Best Regards
Sergio

Did the report mention that Arafat was buried in a bullet-proof coffin? I guess they were afraid someone would try to assassinate his dead body.
To: redhead
Yah, and how about when the Ayatolla Houmeini croaked, and they dumped the corpse out of the coffin as they were carrying it around? LOL!
I remember it!
Plop, rolling around on the ground, people piling all over the corpse.
Another fine funeral moment from the Religion Of PeaceTM
To: Pfesser
Whatever happened to the religious requirement that burial could not occur until the third day after death? Since they buried him today, are they admitting that he was dead sooner than they announced?

Compare the rowdy, dangerous, and out of control behavior of the Palestinians to that of the British when Princess Diana died. Half of Britain turned out to mourn her but they still behaved in a respectful and dignified manner.

great pictures you have there...just one thing missing...somewhere in the background there should have been a detonating MOAB!!!
Do u realize how many lives (that are worth saving) that could have been saved if a MOAB or two were released during this joke of a funeral?

Not only did they dump Khomeini, they tore him apart to get "relics". The body looked like it had been picked over by vultures after the 'mosh'.

Looks a lot like Barbarism to me.
Leaves me even more convinced that we need to defeat the Arab mindset through education, etc. - and through miliary force when and where neccessary.

Usually they put dead people on a platter and carry then down the street. He has been rotting for a week, it was not possible this time.

Or release a truckload of pigs. There were pigs as far as the eye could see at that funeral.

Those are Egyptian Air Force Westland (Sikorsky) Sea Kings. The following is a Westland Sea King in RAF SAR scheme

The choppers look like Sikorsky S-3s. There is a British firm that made licensed built versions. Some here will probably know more.
