Whoa....! Michael Reagan was highly visible during the campaign and doing everything he could to help Dubya, especially through his radio show and in numerous interviews. I saw and heard him often.
I think you have to give Nancy a break (age, death of husband, etc.) and nobody really expected anything from Patti or Ron Jr. Other than that, there are several members of Reagan's administration who are in Dubya's administration, and others, such as Peggy Noonan (speechwriter) was certainly front and center for Dubya. I'm sure there are plenty of other examples.
Remember, many of the Reagan administration folks are a bit older now, such as Caspar Weinberger and George Shultz, etc. I am not aware that there is any animosity at all between the Reagan people and the Bush administration.
"Do you know if the military vote is tabulated by state like the others? And where would I get that kind of info? Thanks."
I don't know of any state that breaks out their absentee ballots to show military votes. Many states don't even show the no. of absentee ballots cast, and there are at least ten states that don't have ANY vote counts on their websites! For those states, I had to use the AP #'s in my table.
I found some uncounted votes for Kerry... they're on perforated sheets wound on a roll and sitting in my bathroom. Ooops... I just flushed some.
Vote for W: 60,724,666
Therefore the number of votes for W is greater than the entire population of France.
Hoo Yah!
I'm sure that the bleeding heart RINO's are thrilled with the results from Washington, DC!
I wish people wouldn't post the vote differences like that. Rubbing in that NY is over a million votes short of going for our great Prez.Bush is almost more than I can take.
Do me a favor and let's just say he won the NY electoral votes ... maybe he only lost by ten thousand or so ... leave me in the fantasy world that we might be able to vote for a Republican some year soon.
Hey guys here is the real numbers you want topay attention to..
2004 George W Bush 60,724,666
1992 Wiliams J Clinton 44,909,889
Thank you! Now, if I had only made those additional 12,000 phone calls I didn't get around to. I blame myself. :(
I live in Illinois and have a farm in Wisconsin. I am ashamed of BOTH states!
Thanks for posting the vote chart in post 8.
It's something to actually see the states
that cast so few votes!
The numbers are wild.
Millions in some states.
A few hundred thousand in others...
Have we broken 52% or higher yet? The left leaning talking heads are focusing on fifty ONE percent as if that denies a mandate.
This IS a mandate for two things. 1. The Bush Agenda and 2. the Democrat (gay) party must cease to exist.
IF you really want to see a move to republicans, On the Beltway Boys on Fox, Mort Kondrake was adocating giving away social security benefits based on homosexual conduct. Recreational sex will be rewarded with payments out of a struggling social security program.
This is EXACTLY what kerry was advocating during his campaign. It is currently prohibited by the 1996 DMA. (which also prohibits spousal immigration visas to homosexual sex partners).
This is one albatross the Democrat Party can not escape.
Even if it was the case in the past, no longer will votes "just be discounted". The democrat (gay) party demanded every single vote be counted. Therefore from now on every legally cast vote shall be counted.
....and the totals will keep stacking up for GWBush.
Be careful what you ask for lesson there.
by this Bush is more popular than der slickmeister.
That has to hurt his fragile ego.
Allowing homosexuals to sponsor their 'partners' for immigration is just the kind of thing that could be stealthily inserted into an immigration 'reform' bill. So let's hope that GOP leaders in the House don't let this happen.

Thanks for posting the chart, Non-Value and for the ping, Joy-Angela. It's good to see the numbers first hand.
Thanks for that info. But I still wonder if it varies from state to state. My memory may be wrong, but I thought Florida, for one, did not bother counting absentee ballots if their counting could not change the outcome of the election.
