The real Democratic Party was lost back in the 60's somewhere. While we're on the subject, the real Republican Party got up and left many conservatives in the 90s. Both parties have moved to the left. It's about time for a Freeper Party.

I think you are going to see that "party". The Dems did a really stupid thing in trying to push a Euro-socialist, elitist down our throats. The usually sleepy, "live and let live" right are fully awake now and see the need to move. Lately I have heard more average hard working folks talk about taking up some sort of activist cause than any other time in my life. It's like they believe they messed up by not getting involved in the past and feel like we almost lost our country. I think they are right. In addition, the baby boomers have come of age and the liberals trying to tap our young will no longer work for them. They have seen first hand how people like Kerry can warp things through the media and cause political chaos..thank God for the 60's. Looks like we learned something.
