The Best Fallujah Compilation on the Web
Various media ^ | Nov. 7th - 12th | Various

"Wellington once observed that "nothing except a battle lost can be half so melancholy as a battle won." Nothing about it is nice; but better them than us."   -- T.C. Wretchard

As many of Freepers know, there's a very significant battle going on in Fallujah right now. Want a one-stop shop that will help you keep track of media reports so you know what's going on as things develop, and link you to some of the smartest background analysis around so you understand the why and how, as well as the what? OK, you got it. One power-packed briefing, in depth and in detail:

This briefing will be updated as excellent new sources are found, and events continue to develop. Readers are welcome to suggest additional items for inclusion via the full briefing's Comments section.

Highlight of the Night: Belmont Club with another really bright analysis. Its core? "Guerilla warfare, like all warfare, is logistics. It just takes different forms." He then proceeds to map out those logistics from the insurgents' point of view, and explains what that means (hint: a lot!) for allied strategy over the next 60 days in the Sunni Triangle.

Does anyone else find it frustrating that there is so little coverage from msm or even Fox News. (Those useful idiots are showing the rabble to rabble coverage of the funeral of the father of modern terrorism.) This is supposed to be the equivalent of the Tet Offensive, the turning point in the war for the liberation of Iraq and the ground work for free elections. The true reports indicate that U.S. and Iraqi forces are doing a pretty good job. Since they all have embedded reporters, they could be giving this a lot more coverage. They are obviously making a conscious decision not to give this the coverage the operation warrants. I am pissed.

Interesting. I'm curious. What's with the "I Am An Armed Liberal" merchandise for sale on your website?
