I am curious. With that many bullets falling, shouldnt people be dropping right and left?
Only if they were very careful about firing exactly vertical, given the distances involved, there are probably bullets raining down over at least a mile in each direction. Large area dramatically reduces probablity...but would bet that one or two people got hit, and quite possibly a number of roofs have sprung leaks.
At 0707 CST, FNC showed them taking the first set of bodies out. The body counted started then. From 0610 CST to then, I watched them fire a few thousand rounds into the air. Some were firing from under the helicopter while the blades were still rotating.
