Read some Flynn, Hamilton Fish, Mencken...study the Wilkie campaign, read Henry Wallace's "guru letters," Al Smith's private correspodence, study the FDR Supreme Court packing crisis, pick a new topic and get back to me.
FDR was scum, Capra knew it, and so did my grandfather and a lot of people. FDR and his hideous wife were closet Know Nothings. Good grief!
