WOW! Larry Kudlow is slapping Pat around and accusing him of asserting moral equivalency between Arafat and Jewish Leaders.
The Haganah or the Stern Gang blew up the lobby of the King David Hotel. I believe it was in 1947, and killed 11 British army officers, but I'm not sure on those facts.
Both Kudlow and Novak are both Jewish converts to the Faith due to the same Opus Dei priest. Looking at it that way, you could say they both rejected judaism and embraced Catholicism, I suppose that means they are both anti-jewish in some very personal way?
Sorry I missed it. What makes it especially delicious is that Kudlow, born Jewish, is now a convert to Buke's religion.
Buke grew up in a family that admired Father Coughlin. It still shows.
I think I met John. Did he not hang out at IESE in Barcelona as part of the big Opus Dei crowd there?
Here's one of my favorites:
"For whose benefit these endless wars in a region that holds nothing vital to America save oil, which the Arabs must sell us to survive? Who would benefit from a war of civilizations between the West and Islam? Answer: one nation, one leader, one party. Israel, Sharon, Likud."
Pat's obsessed with Jews. Nothing vital save that pesky thing "oil". Who benefits from a War of Civilizations? Pat's world, the Jews.
He's a blamer. Take away the Jews there would still be the wars, there would still be the clash. His circumlocutions are ferocious as they are facile.
There's was an even wilder comment he made about Gulf War I, which was even more "about oil" than II, yet he found the cause was, yes again, the Jews. Can't find it right now.
BTW, his "ein reich, ein..." end sentence is Nazi talk.
I think they're both nazi's.
I wouldn't know. He's been on TV enough, but I figure if you've met him, he wouldn't be the kind you forget about meeting.
Israel does one act of terror in 1947 killing eleven. Its quoted by every anti Israeli/Jew constantly. I mean thats 57 years ago. Thats a reach to explain current terrorism.
Question........are you worried an Israeli/Jew will blow up building in America and kill thousands or are you worried about Islamic radicals?
For Palestinains thats just one busload of kids they were pulling off every few weeks.
Yeah, I met him. Went back the following Summer to Barcelona, but he was not there.
He has white/silver hair. Yes?
I recall reading about Robert Novak making the conversion from Judaism to Roman Catholicism. Did Kudlow really convert from from Judaism to Roman Catholicism also?
I was talking about Kudlow and Novak, how could they both be Nazi's?
I think they are both far from being socialist. I'd say Kerry was more of that brand of Catholic, the socialist kind.
I was thinking Kudlow and Novak are anti-jewish by virtue of their conversion, but only in a personal soul saving kind of way. As in: If outside the Church there is no Salvation, then; conversion is the only answer.
As Imus said about Buchanan: "Pat had an uncle who died at aushwitz. He fell out of a guard tower."
Got the whole show on videotape. LOL
When you consider it was Arafat's great-uncle that was a close advisor to Hitler and was the real source of the "Final Solution", it is no surprise that Arafat was focused on the destruction of Israel until his last breath.
Is he suggesting that Pat is ethnocentric? How could that be?
I like Kudlow also.
I knew he had a serious problem: cocaine addiction. See the below. Maybe, he was addicted to alcohol also?
Below is quoted from http://toogoodreports.com/column/general/safran/20020611.htm
"Kudlow, who is an excellent economist, has been an unbridled optimist by nature, especially since recovering from his widely publicized cocaine addiction."
Sinkspur, although I long ago stopped supporting Buchanan or even liking him, I never wanted to believe he is an anti-Semite. However, his comments since Arafat's death leave no doubt in my mind. (PS: I was raised a Roman Catholic.) Buchanan is a bigot in addition to being a political throwback to the hard-right populists of the 1930's.
The same argument could have been used to justify blowing up the US Marine barracks in Beirut.
Buchanan's speech in Houston 1992 was perceived by all the Jews that I know as being extremely anti-semetic. It will still take another generation before the GOP can make inroads with the Jewish vote.
Funny, I always thought of Beruit as a valid act of war.
