The King David Hotel was HQ for Brit Intel during their troubles with Israeli resistance. The main Israeli force The Hagahnah to this day denies any part in the dynamiting of the hotel. The attack did take the lives of some innocents. It has been credited to the Stern gang, a radical branch of Israeli resistence to the Brits. Menachem Begin was a fighter belonging to the Stern Gang and so could be legitimately called a terrorist. But so could Michael Collins in Ireland of 1919. If you called Collins a terrorist Congressman Peter King of Long Island would fight you.

The question of terror is sometimes difficult to define. Innocents killed by the Israelis or the IRA were genuinely collateral damage, just like those killed in Hamburg or Dresden. But they were still dead. So in the minds of some, and I guess Pat is one, those deaths are equivalent to the homicide bombers and al Queda. It's a matter of perspective that Pat no longer possesses.

In the latest version of his same old book buchanan dedicates a whole chapter to his argument that Islamic Extremists DO NOT pose a threat to America. Earlier to day he was visibly close to tears discussing Arafats death while heaping praise on him.

King David Hotel was a (commandeered) British military headquarters. The Irgun, I believe, planted bombs inside and blew it up after a half hour's warning. It was an attack against infrastructure, not against innocents.

As far as I know, Larry Kudlow is also now a Catholic (Jewish convert).

Isn't this fun!

I think Joe's back problem has made him testy. But for a change he isn't wimping out like he did during elections.

I am glad buchanan is getting his comuppence.

I'm glad I missed that, other wise I wouldn't have turned him on to see him get slapped around.

There is no case where Jews have targeted civilians first. That is the key difference between Jews, Christians, and the country we live in. We go after military targets first and unfortunately some civilians die in the process. Arafat and his thugs target civilians first!!!!! Clear difference!!!

A "terrorist" who calls up on the phone and says evacuate the place, we're blowing it up. Multiple times. It was a legitimate military target, and the Brits got far more warning that they ever gave a German target in WWII.

Another beef I have against Buchanan, and Bay too, is that during the Florida recount they came out and said that the votes that went to Pat should have gone to Gore when they knew full well that those votes had been cast in a precinct that was a center of Ukrainian retirees that did indeed vote for Pat.
