I agree completely. I've been watching the MSM try to marginalize the protests, insisting Specter has the job and the "right-wing wackos" are blowing smoke. Nothing could be further from the truth, as Cornyn's statement shows.

I don't know anything about Cornyn, other than that he's a conservative. I'm wondering if he's baiting Specter, trying to make him publicly state he's not pro-abortion (I have evil fantasies of tormenting enemies -- it's the remnents of my leftist leanings).

Specter cannot be allowed to assume the Chairmanship of Judiciary. If he gets that, he'll go after conservatives with a vengence, just to prove he can.
