"If I'm a moral relativist, so be it." Exactly. So be it. I really don't care what unstable mentalities on the religious left believe as long as you don't attempt to indoctrinate others or attempt to obtain political power (like the Clintoons, et.al.), where you will be in a position to impose your relativistic moral views on the rest of us (like trying to change our Constitution).
"What I am is someone who respects your right to your beliefs"
Now that is pretty funny. Read back over your replies to people on this thread. LOL.

Hmmm ... let's see ... who is trying to change the Constitution ... what's in the news ... could it be an amdendment to protect marriage?
Guess that was started by all of us "moral relativists."
Thing is, Clinton never had to change the Constitution - he had the 9th Circuit.
Why don't you tell me what your views are - so that I can see what moral relativism is?
For me -
I believe in God and pray daily (most days more often), but I'm not "born again."
I'm a gun owner, but I believe in reasonable restrictions on guns (including licensing and background checks).
My wife and I have three great kids. I also think that Roe v. Wade was bad law created by activist judges, but I think it's unwise for President Bush to have a "pro-life" litmus test in appointing judges.
I voted for President Bush, but I hate his "open borders" policy and his pandering to the AARP on the prescription drug benefit.
I spent 6 years in the Army, but would have considered voting Democratic if the Democrats hadn't trotted out an individual whom I believe is a traitor to our country.
I quit smoking about 20 years ago, but have no problem with smokers (cigarettes or marijuana (the latter of which should be legalized and taxed)).
I also believe that prostitution should be legalized, regulated, and taxed.
I support the death penalty, and limitations on appeal, but think that the war on drugs is being fought stupidly.
I believe in welfare reform, but think that Reagan's "safety net" should be strengthened.
Take your pick of my moral relativistic points to shoot at.
