Hello all, A while ago I made a web site in tribute to my Dads service during World War 2, on this Veterans Day I would like to invite you to visit it and read and see pictures from his time in the Army with the 78th Infantry division. If you enjoy the site and have time could you sign his guest book, my Dad enjoys reading the comments.
The address is http://www.thejucketts.com/ww2.htm
Thanks

I have two older friends who served in the 78th and will direct them to your site.
One of them went on a reunion tour of Germany and France with a group from the 78th about four years ago, did your father make that trip?

An excellent tribute. My father-in-law was in one of the 78th's artillery battalions.

Thank you for your tribute.
I haven't built a website for him but would like to thank my Dad for his service to our country for 28 years, US Army. He has now passed but is never forgotten.

The web-site is a great idea. Good Job.
My Dad was in the Navy from 1944-1945, serving on board the Battleship USS Mississippi. Sadly he passed away this last March. I hope you get a chance to visit the National WWII Memorial in D.C. It is a great tribute to these great people who saved our country.

Is your dad aware that there is a reunion of the 78th in Biloxi, Mississippi starting this Sunday? If he wants info I can get it for him.
A friend of mine is going and asks permission to tell others (as many as 600) about your web site. Would that be OK?

I enjoyed your website--a lot of work went into it!

Thanks for the link. That's a wonderful tribute to your Dad.
Looking at the photo's reminds me so much of my Dad's scrapbook of photo's, newspaper clippings and such from when he served for 5 years during WWII, a year of that in Okinawa. He was very proud of his service and every visit to his house we'd sit around and go thru the scrapbook. He's passed on in '92, God bless him.
Thanks again.
