New video of the street-to-street fighting in Fallujah was released late on Wednesday. The footage shows U.S. Marines facing a resistance while advancing through the narrow streets of the one of the neighborhoods of Fallujah.

God Bless our brave troops!
KICKING ASS!!!!!!
Wow. God bless them.
god bless those guys.
Street fighting ("combat in built-up areas") is the pits. It always comes down to which side has the best infantry and the most determination. It's nasty, ugly, dirty, grind-it-out combat, where you are generally better off fighting from the top floors down rather than from the bottom floors up, and where grenades almost always rule the day. (Toss a grenade or two into the next room/whatever, wait for them to go off, and then charge in.)
I can't think of anything much worse, except maybe tunnel/fortification operations.
Thanks for posting this. Great video. Great troops.
Wow. It's constantly amazing to see their courage under fire.
If that cameraman is civvy, he deserves credit too.
Even when you win handily in street fighting, it can still feel like you lost.
When he said he tripped over a dead body "one of theirs not one of ours" the marine started laughing and had to suppress it.
I'm imagining clearing block after block of tight streets with nooks and crannies where Islamist scumbags are laying in wait.
Yet we appear to be kicking their asses, as they are clear to operate unhindered tactic wise.
bump for further viewing
SEMPER FI
I would much rather see that young, hunky, brave Marine (God bless him!) on the big screen playing a great warrior than that wimpy, puppy-eyed drunk Colin Fairy. Hollyweird is a total pacifist fantasy land.
I want to see more of that Marine!
Fallujah seriously wounded arriving at Ramstein in the last 4 days: 38, 23, 62, 90+

The one marine by the door looked like he was shot in the foot...
Is this American wounded? Wow, that's a lot of folks!!! Prayers for them!!!
