CBS interupted CSI with 5 minutes left to report Arafat's death, and my mother is pissed as can be.
Does anybody on the West Coast know how CSI ended? I'd be grateful to anybody who saw it it for an explanation. Thank you.
How they deduce clues...how they focus on a slant with the flimsiest of evidence...
Oh well, they DO have to solve the murder in an hour don't they?
In real life, last night's crime would have been chalked up to a robbery gone bad and that would be the end of it.
NEW YORK, Nov. 11, 2004 (CBS)
CBS will rebroadcast the Wednesday night episode of "CSI: NY" that was interrupted by a news report of Yasser Arafat's death.
Viewers in some parts of the country missed the last few minutes of the popular crime drama because of the Arafat report. The program will be shown again Friday at 10 p.m. ET.
CBS issued the following statement: "An overly aggressive CBS News producer jumped the gun with a report that should have been offered to local stations for their late news. We sincerely regret the error."

I thought Rosebud was Richie's middle name.
Thank You.
I appreciate the info, and the fact you didn't give me the zillionth smart-ass remark.
"He's a she."
There is a new CSI spinoff in the making.
Its called CSI: Sunbury
Its about a Crime Investigational unit that solves mysterious crimes in the town of Sunbury Ohio.
The first episode includes a man killed mysteriously. Medics are baffled. He is in his easy chair with a sack of potato chips and a warm beer. Doug "doog" Snyder and Beatrice Louder are summoned to solve the case.
10 minutes into the show the case is solved as a heart attack but I hear the storyline is real intense!
I don't know whether to laugh or cry.
SEE B.S. PUBLICLY APOLOGIZES IMMEDIATELY because an overly aggressive CBS News producer jumped the gun with a report that stepped on the tail end of a mediocre TV Show, BUT....
When overly aggressive CBS News producer (and it's star Anchor) jumped the gun with a report using Fraudulent Documents, and tries to step on the tail end of a national election where we debate crucial issues such as National Security, they stonewall...
