A friend of mine (whom I'll refer to by his initials, G.O.E.) visited the U.S. Census website recently and saw the list of states, by order of mobile homes as a total of housing units. He was struck by the states near the top that voted for G.W. Bush. So he color-coded the states based on their vote results. The first graphic is a small image just to easily show the voting-color. The second image is a capture of his spreadsheet. I just wanted to post it here for discussion...
The last entry really isn't a state (D.C.) but was included in the census stats...

Do they have a category for most crack houses per capita?
I'd like to see that one.
To: ricer1
I don't have a chart, but I'll bet that the states with the most crack whores voted Democrat.

I have driven through Bedford PA and there are a lot of mobile homes.
Does this mean that The Demonrat Party is the party of the rich?

Chances are that home owners (irrespective of the type of
home) tended to vote for Bush, and apartment/dorm/cell
dwellers tended to vote for Kerry.
Exceptions might include mansion owners.

Um... break it down by county and then add in the number of people living in housing projects... I would imagine things would pretty much even out.
In other words... it doesn't matter...

yes, but why not show how the precincts with the mobile homes voted? Perhaps because it will show they went predominantly for sKerry? then again, one could also 'show' that cities with the largest slums went for Kerry. So your point, much like all kool aid drinker supposition is lame and stupid.

Any reason why Ohio is in Blue?
A similar spreadsheet correlating counties with larger homeless populations would show they overwhelmingly voted for Kerry.

I'll be forwarding any and all comments from this thread to my friend, G.O.E., the originator of the above spreadsheet.

While I could accept the premise that those states that voted for Bush may have more mobile homes per capita, those who LIVE in those mobile homes most likely voted for DEMOCRATS!
To: atomicpossum
I bet the areas with the highest crime rate voted for Kerry. I believe those would be the blue areas on the map. Hehehe. Parley
To: ricer1
First thing I noticed is that Ohio is in the Blue section.
Besides they voted for Clintoon from dirt hole Arkansas whose favorite meals were Kraft Mac and Cheese.
And yes lets do add up the crack whores, pimps, drug pushers from East LA and not the least of which we must not forget who all voted for Hanoi Kerry because they reachieved crack for the vote?
