NOW THAT MADONNA HAS SPOKEN UP ....

What a relief. Finally our military commanders, Iraq, and President Bush's advisors have some expert guidance on what to do in Iraq. Madonna has finally broken her gut-wrenching silence and has informed the world as to the correct course of action. Madonna has now called for the United States to withdraw its troops from Iraq. And, true to Hollywood custom, Madonna decided to share her foreign policy expertise with the world from a foreign platform .. an interview with British radio. Madonna, who has successfully hidden her wide ranging knowledge on foreign affairs for quite some time now, says that she "(doesn't) want American troops to be in Iraq, period. My feelings are, 'can we just all get out?'"

No word from the White House yet. I'm sure the president's advisors will be meeting this morning to discuss the wide-raging implications of Madonna's pronouncements. Meanwhile, a grateful world breaths a sigh of relief. Finally, someone with some sense has stepped forward to save the day.

In her favor, she's smarter than John Kerry, and less wordy.

I doubt, however, that she's been to 'Nam.

Laura Ingram was razzing on Madonna most of her show this morning. It was a hoot.

A well-done rant is a beautiful thing.

But he did forget to thank the British radio person for soliciting this valuable view from a pop star that can so enlighten the world.

Madonna is a great example of what these irrational individuals think of a worldview that should exist today.

Very scary. To listen to her babble about politics is absolutely gut-wrenching.

The dutch are learning the hard way on how multi-culturalism destroys one's society.

LISTEN UP MADONNA! PAY ATTENTION!

Unfortunately I don't get him here in Illinois either, but I've grown addicted to his "Daily Nuze". A friend of mine who used to live in Atlanta turned me on to him. He's a great disciple of the right.

It's all fine and good to hear from Madonna, but I simply will not be able to rest until I know what Elton John's feelings on the matter are. If he's unavailable, I'll settle for Sharon Osborne.

You're probably right...She may be smarter than John Kerry, and I bet she's changed her religion more times as well (but that might be a toss up).

I think we should be very careful in dealing with Madonna. We wouldn't want Deadly Bronze Booby Cone technology to fall into terrorist hands, as it were. This is one where we should really apply a global test.

Thank you Madonna, your infinite wisdom will now solve all the worlds problems. - Agreed with Dustin Hoffman's plan of "If only we smelled each other's a**, there wouldn't be any war.'" - we're so lucky to have these great intellectuals in the world today.

Hollweird people are just sooo clever!

Anyone ever see The Christmas Carol? Remember when Scrooge realized he was still alive after his visits with the ghosts? Remember how he scared the wits out of his maid by laughing and hooping it up on and on and on? Well, picture me and all the rest of us doing a "Scrooge Laugh" as we listen to Madonna give advice.

This is OK as far as it goes, but still one is left wondering "What does Cher think?". Until we know that, we are still missing key info.

Madonna has decided that the fons et origo of all wisdom lies in seeking hidden messages in old Hebrew texts. When she sang "my baby's got a secret", something was coming over her, that's for sure.
