Judge Removes Foreman From Peterson Jury
Judge in Scott Peterson Trial Removes Foreman From Jury a Day After Second Juror Dismissed
Journalists look at a boat near a Redwood City, Calif., courthouse Wednesday, Nov. 10, 2004 that is similar to the boat Scott Peterson used in the San Francisco Bay on Dec. 24, 2002 that Peterson says he went fishing on. Defense attorney Mark Geragos used this similar boat to conduct experiments on dumping Laci Peterson's body into the Bay. Peterson is the Modesto, Calif., man who could face the death penalty for the deaths of his wife, Laci Peterson and their unborn son. (AP Photo/Paul Sakuma)
The Associated Press
The judge in the Scott Peterson murder trial removed the foreman from the jury Wednesday, the second time in two days a juror has been removed from the panel.
The judge did not disclose why he dismissed juror No. 5., a man in his mid 40s who has both medical and law degrees.

And one of the jurors has surgery scheduled for Friday & will have to be replaced--unless she's been replaced already.
They're running out of alternates.

So, that's what? Two jurors replaced so far? What are these people doing?
I would like to hear from those dismissed. I wonder about the constitutionality of a gag order on a juror who is no longer part of the trial. Seems to go against everything this country was founded on.

"This media circus is from the Twilight Zone: it's never going to stop! This trial will go on FOREVER. FOX will be broadcasting news alerts on this case when we're all dead and gone"Amen. I can't tell you how much I hate Greta's show... The Scott Peterson Hour. What a total waste of satellite bandwidth.

I do not see how a guilty verdict could possibly be sustained on appeal. Dismissing one juror during deliberations is very rare. Dismissing a second one has got to be way off the charts.

The MD/Lawyer was probably too dang smart to be able to figure out that Scott was guilty. I'm thinking it was the other way around. The others were too dang stupid to figure out that Scott was guilty. But, on second thought, he was a lawyer, so you may be right. Lawyers love to obfuscate the truth.

Thanks Chick.
It's turning into a real mess with no good end in sight. Poor Laci's family.

How did that guy even get on the jury? You would have thought one side or the other would have had him stricken from the jury pool.

What make me sick about all this coverage is I know there are a whole lot of other murder cases going on in this country and the press only focuses on this one day after day, after day, after day, after day, after day, after day, after day, after day, after day, after day, after day, after day, after day, after day, after day, after day, after day, after day, after day, after day AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

Sounds like a run-away jury...all ganging up on the dissenters to get them eliminated.
