Hi, Angel!

I hope you've got a fast Internet connection.

There's lots of good history of our Marine Corps in those links.

Hey, little Termite!

Check out the links, and find out some of the history you'll need to know as a future Gyrene!

Thank you for posting those links. I *do* have a pretty decent internet connection and will peruse as time permits.

As we're sitting here today these brave warriors are adding pages to their history book.

May God bless and keep them all!

That is *so* true. I pray for all of our troops each and every day. I am so grateful for all that they do. And, I am grateful for the sacrifices that their families and loved ones make.

I wish everyone realized how lucky they are to have these fine men and women defending our liberty.

"I wish everyone realized how lucky they are to have these fine men and women defending our liberty."

From the frozen wastes of Korea, to the green hell of VietNam to the burning desert of Iraq, they've always been there - not for the glory, and surely not for the money, but because they believe in America!

So true!

All the more reason to laud them, pray for them and *thank* them!

Which Branch of the Service Do Your Prefer?

An Army grunt stands in the rain with a 35 pound pack on his back, 15 pound. weapon in hand, after having marched 12 miles, and says, "This is sh#t!"

An Army Airborne Ranger stands in the rain with a 45 pound pack on his back, 15 pound weapon in hand, after having jumped from an airplane and marched 18 miles, and says with a smile, "This is good sh#t!"

A Navy SEAL lies in the mud, 55 pound pack on his back, 15 pound weapon in hand, after having had a 10 mile swim to shore, a five crawl through swamps, and a 25 mile march in jungle, at night, through enemy positions, says with a grin, "This really is great sh#t."

A Marine, up to his nose in the stinking, bug-infested mud of a swamp with a 65 pound pack on his back and a 15 pound weapon in each hand, after jumping from an aircraft at high altitude, into the ocean, swimming 12 miles to the shore, killing several alligators to enter the swamp, then crawling 30 miles through the brush to assault an enemy camp, says, "I love this sh#t."

An Air Force NCO sits in an easy chair in an air conditioned, carpeted office and says, "My e-mail's out? What kind of sh#t is this?"

""I love this sh#t."

LOL!

I wonder how many times I said that just to keep anyone from knowing how bad I was hurting?!
