I would love to see this chart stacked up against church attendance. N.H. is one of the least church-going states in the country. I bet the difference in charity is accounted for by differences in how much people spend on church contributions, missionary work, new buildings, etc.

I would love to see this chart stacked up against church attendance.
Took a quick look at census.gov, but couldn't find religion / church attendance in the State data sets or the subject index.
