I think he's more a liability as a friend than an enemy.
Plus, if he considers Justice Sandra Day O'Connor and Justice Anthony Kennedy to be pro-life, he has worse issues than I thought.

No kidding. Specter's list of "pro-life" justices icludes: Chief Justice William Rehnquist, Justice Antonin Scalia, Justice Sandra Day O'Connor, Justice Anthony Kennedy and Justice Clarence Thomas. That's 5 of the 9 justices. If that was the case, then there wouldn't be much of an abortion debate left. But in his defense, perhaps he confused Bush v. Gore with Roe v. Wade...
