None of your business unless someone else decides to make it so.

Greetings from Wonderland fellow FReeper & stalwart. I should check the messages more often, however as you know, we've been preoccupied.

We've had some incoming for sure, however our lives here are far less in danger than the fine, fine soldiers who are doing the real dirty work.

We watched a late evening demonstration of the AC-130 Spectre's capabilities. Needless to say, the display of flashes emerging from the low cloud cover was stupendous. A number of rockets, my all time favorite, have come in as well.
At night we can watch the flashes & rumble over the horizon at Fallujah.

Tonight a pretty brisk firefight was (is) taking place on the northern perimeter. Lotsa fire. GO 1ST CAV!!!!!!
Now if they can take care of the dirtbags who shoot & scoot from the main artery we'll have it made.
I believe BIAP is still in shutdown - lots of stranded R&R's, LWOP's, DMOB's etc.

On a further note: Attention all FReepers.........
Call your Representatives to tell them that now is the time to put the islamofascists to sleep permanently. What our soldiers are uncovering is sickening.
Best wishes to all -
Allegra, keep your head down. Will write soon with an update.

We can see the light show from the west, too and hear the eerie, distant popping noises. The aircraft show over there the other night was quite a treat. (I guess not for them, though.)

Thank God for our fine armed forces! They're kicking butt, taking names and it won't be long before freedom reigns in this land.

Yep, we've got a handful of ours there at BIAP, stuck. Or actually they're starting to get them out "the old way."

We're OK here - getting hit plenty but their aim still sucks. Stay in touch, stay safe and keep those spirits up!

Signing off from The Resort. Gotta go get that manicure and pedicure and then meet the Van Slykes for drinks and dinner at the club. ;-)
