WHERE IS THE GOP ON THIS? Any statements from them? Any statements from BUSH?

The White House has made their position known, and that is it is up to the Senate to decide Committee appointments and chairmen. The Senate Leadership is taking a similar position, that it is up to their Committees who their chairman is. It looks like the buck stops in the Committee as everyone else is punting. I think it is politically smart for the White House to defer Senate business to the Senate. Whether the Senate Leadership should step in may be another story.

Where is the GOP on this seems to elicit a reply that the White House and Senate figure it is the Senate Committee's business. Bush coud care less, it is his second term. Well, I disagree. I think that if we loose, and BUSH and the Senate GOPs have said nothing, THEY LOOSE TOO=2006 and 2008 BIG TIME!

For some reason, they seem to think Guest Worker Visas will bring them more votes than supporting this uprising. (were the ballot boxes stuffed? Do illegal guest workers vote?) If BUSH lacks the baxxz ro back us, he doesn't deserve to have our support again. The 2 Johns were flushed; who is next? If it is US, it is the GOP too.
