Perhaps.
"I beseech my fellow Democrats to accept what we have, and to start behaving with the dignity and eloquence I have seen emanating from the Powells and Rices of this world: in 2008 we will need to top their panache, and finesse them if we are to win."
Sounds like this Liberal-Socialist's proposing a strategy, eh?
*Behold*!!
A metamorphosis.
"In the meantime I am amongst a tiny faction of conservative Democrats who is sleeping soundly knowing that Rummy, Ashcroft, Ridge and Dubya himself are trying to win the war on terror."
Well how nice.
But may I remind you the term "concervative Democrat" is -- these days -- somewhat an oxymoron, too?
This person appears to cling to her "Democratic" [read: Liberal-Socialist, Les] affiliation; instead, of doing the honest thing by simply declaring she's become *a* conservative.
Which I must tell you I find most interesting.
It'd seem to me only one with an agenda would stick with that which they know -- damned well -- to be wrong *&* corrupt; but, that's just me.
How about I ask another European journailst, a real conservative who *I* respect and trust, about this "Zell Miller type in London" Carol Gould?
So?
...what could you tell us about this person, Angel #1? ;^)
" The folks whom the British and European papers think are so dumb for believing there is a link amongst the terror groups and tyrannical Gulf regimes have a raw instinct, and they are sittin on a stoop thousands of miles away in Iowa, not in my local shop in Londonistan."bump!

Hear, Hear! ;^D
Any comments, Happygal?
I love Zell Miller. More and more every time he talks.
